"Well, what did you expect?"

You had plenty of time to plan
You were regularly advised by concerned employees about the future and you told them "I've got it all in hand".
As a result of your decision to 'manage', those same employees have done their absolute best to deal with the decision you have made to continue, and to provide you with as much guidance for the time after they vacate their roles. All of these things are deliberately 'dumbed down' to accommodate your lack of technical and computer skills.
Amongst the points of guidance provided - are the following:
- Teaching you how to do the basics of invoicing orders.
- Teaching you how to sell and deliver orders.
- Teaching you the basics of good communication.
- Teaching you about staff and their salaries.
- Creating an easy to follow guide to remind you of the things you've been taught. This web site.
- Created a Yellow Bible, to remind you about what essentials you need to apply daily, such as:-
- Invoicing
- Dispatching pallets
- Creating invoices
- Managing the companies websites in the event you need to
- Providing a list of GI Surplus customers
- Creating an email account for your use when the previous business accounts are shut down
- Shown you how to take payments on the card reader
You have accepted that it is your responsibility to contend with with all of the above and more, as well as all of the additional factors that are essential in managing a business in a compliant and legal manner.
